Judy and Peter Cawley have been a part of Thrive Church since 1994. They were married in 1987, they have 3 children, one daughter-in-law, and 3 crazy dogs. Judy and Peter work well as a team and have served Thrive in various ministries over the years including children, teens, young adults, and community projects. Judy’s other ministries include worship and pastoral care. She believes the greatest calling that God has for all of us is to know and love Him and show others who He is. She is passionate about children, specifically kids from families that don’t yet know Jesus and she gets to outwork that through teaching scripture in local schools. In her spare time Judy chooses to spend time with people, reading, being on the beach and being a pillion passenger on Peters motorbike. She also loves renovating, i.e. she enjoys having the ideas and seeing Peter make them a reality. Peter is an elder at Thrive and teaches electro technology at Hunter Trade College (and enjoys making Judy’s ideas a reality).
