How we thrive

We align ourselves theologically with our movement, International Network of Churches. INC’s statement of faith can be found HERE.

Locally, our values guide us in our vision forward and decision making and we walk these values out with support and guidance from these important sources.

Through our movement of International Network of Churches (INC)

Our Pastors Travis and Aimee regularly meet with members of the INC oversight. They follow and maintain their accreditation by meeting the requirements of the movement every year and follow the reporting processes required by INC. INC also has requirements for theological, financial, legal, ethical and child protection which as a church we follow and maintain within their oversight. The National Executive and Board of INC oversees all the operations of our church through the reporting and relationship with the local Church Committee of Management.

Through our Committee of Management (COM)

Thrive Church COM is comprised of men and women within the Church organisation. The Local Church COM oversees the legal and financial elements of our church. The COM never has less than 5 members and all decisions are overseen within this group to ensure the integrity of the financial and legal processes of Thrive Church. Thrive Church COM then is accountable to the INC National Executive and Board through reporting and Annual General Meetings.

The beauty of this all? You can be confident that there are wise, integrous and Godly men and women ensuring our church is moving forward in a safe, legal and Godly manner.

Through local Church Leadership

Our Pastors also have an eldership to follow the biblical pattern of Godly accountability for the support in pastoring and leading Thrive Church. We know biblically there is wisdom in having good men and women around the pastoral and leadership direction of the church.

This then helps every member of the church know that there are good and wise people always leading our church forward in the direction God wants.
